This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to text, audio, and other material you submit to or generate with the textspeech.io AI text-to-speech service (the "Service"). It supplements the Terms of Service. On content rules, this Policy controls if the two documents differ.

1. Speech models and voice sources

textspeech.io does not train or substitute its own speech model behind the names below. Studio calls these models:

Name in StudioModelModel idProviderAccess source
Fish Audio S1Fish Audio S1s1Fish Audio (https://fish.audio)302.AI Fish Audio API, POST /fish-audio/v1/tts
Fish Audio S2-ProFish Audio S2-Pros2-proFish Audio (https://fish.audio)302.AI Fish Audio API, POST /fish-audio/v1/tts

Voices in the voice library are supplied by the Fish Audio voice library. A generation request sends the selected voice's Fish Audio reference id together with one of the model ids above.

302.AI (https://302.ai) is the API gateway used to reach Fish Audio. The model vendor is Fish Audio.

2. Prohibited content

You must not submit, upload, generate, share, or attempt to generate any of the following. Each category is prohibited on its own.

Illegal content

Content that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.

Intellectual property infringement

Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.

Sexual content

Sexually explicit, pornographic, or other not-safe-for-work sexual content, including nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive material.

Impersonation and deceptive voice use

You must not use the Service to impersonate a person in a deceptive or harmful way, create fraudulent robocalls, spread misinformation, harass others, or produce synthetic voice content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Graphic violence and gore

Graphic violence or gore, including depictions or realistic instructions for torture, mutilation, dismemberment, or other extreme physical harm.

Hate speech

Hate speech that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites hostility or violence against a person or group because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any sexual, exploitative, or sexualized content involving anyone under 18, including fictional or synthetic sexual content involving minors. This prohibition is absolute.

3. How to report a violation

Email support@textspeech.io with the subject line Content Report. There is no separate web form. Include:

  • a contact email;
  • the account, page, or audio involved, if you know it;
  • the submitted text, or a description or link for the audio;
  • which prohibited category applies;
  • the approximate date and time of the generation.

We acknowledge a complete report within 24 hours. We complete the review within 3 business days. Reports that allege child sexual abuse material are prioritized, and we act on them within 24 hours.

4. How we review content

  1. Using the Service means you accept this Policy and the content rules in the Terms of Service.
  2. Each generation request is sent to the Fish Audio model named in this Policy through the 302.AI Fish Audio API. If that provider rejects the request, no audio is returned.
  3. Reports are reviewed by people on our team. A person reviews the reported text and any audio we still hold. An automated classifier is not the sole decision maker.
  4. If we confirm a violation, we may remove or disable the audio we store, block further generation on the account, and warn, suspend, or terminate the account without a refund.
  5. For confirmed child sexual abuse material, and for other content the law requires us to report, we keep the report and the generation records we still hold and notify the competent authority.
  6. You may appeal a content decision by emailing support@textspeech.io with the subject Content Review Appeal within 14 days of our decision. We reply within 7 business days.
