Welcome to textspeech.io! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and AI text to speech and voice generation services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Your Account

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Content and Ownership

This section outlines the ownership rights related to content on our platform.

Our Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including its software, design, and original content (excluding user-generated content), is the exclusive property of textspeech.io and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content and Your Rights

We believe creators should own their work. Here's how it works:

• Subscribing Users: If you have an active subscription, you own all intellectual property rights, including full copyright, to the speech audio and other content you create using the Service ("User Content"). You can use your User Content for any purpose, commercial or personal, without any royalties or restrictions from us.
• Non-Subscribing Users: If you are using a free version of the Service, you still own your User Content. However, you grant textspeech.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your User Content in connection with promoting and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you create and must ensure it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create any content that is:

• Unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
• Infringing on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Defamatory, obscene, or offensive.
• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise not safe for work ("NSFW"), including but not limited to nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive imagery.
• Graphic violence or gore, including depictions or realistic instructions for torture, mutilation, dismemberment, or other extreme physical harm.
• Hate speech that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites hostility or violence against a person or group because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexual, exploitative, or sexualized content involving anyone under 18, including fictional or synthetic sexual content involving minors.

Prohibited deceptive or harmful voice misuse. You must not use the Service to impersonate people in a deceptive or harmful way, create fraudulent robocalls, spread misinformation, harass others, or produce synthetic voice content that violates applicable law or third-party rights. Any account found using the Service for abusive synthetic voice activity may be suspended or terminated without refund.

How to report a violation, the review timeline, and enforcement are in Section 12 and in the Acceptable Use Policy.

You also agree not to misuse the Service by interfering with its normal operation or attempting to access it using a method other than through the interfaces and instructions we provide.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

We offer paid subscription plans that grant you access to premium features. All fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. You are eligible for a full refund if you meet both of the following conditions:

1. You request the refund within 24 hours of your purchase.
2. You have used no more than 10% of the Service's generation credits or features allocated to your subscription plan.

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@textspeech.io. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. textspeech.io makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service. In no event shall textspeech.io be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any material changes. By continuing to use the Service after the changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.

11. Speech Models and Voice Sources

textspeech.io provides AI text-to-speech by calling the third-party speech models below. We do not substitute a different model behind these names.

Voices in the voice library come from the Fish Audio voice library. A generation request sends the selected voice's Fish Audio reference id together with the model id above. 302.AI (https://302.ai) is the API gateway used to reach Fish Audio. The model vendor is Fish Audio.

12. Reporting and Content Review

How to report

Email support@textspeech.io with the subject line Content Report. Include:

• a contact email;
• the account, page, or audio involved, if you know it;
• the submitted text, or a description of the audio;
• which prohibited category in Section 3 applies;
• the approximate date and time.

We acknowledge a complete report within 24 hours. We complete the review within 3 business days. Reports alleging child sexual abuse material are prioritized, and we act on them within 24 hours.

How review works

1. Use of the Service is acceptance of Section 3 and the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Each generation request is sent to the Fish Audio model named in Section 11 through the 302.AI Fish Audio API. If that provider rejects the request, no audio is returned.
3. Reports are reviewed by our team. A person reviews the reported text and any audio we still hold. An automated classifier is not the sole decision maker.
4. If we confirm a violation, we may remove or disable the audio we store, block further generation, and warn, suspend, or terminate the account without a refund.
5. For confirmed child sexual abuse material, and for other content the law requires us to report, we keep the report and the generation records we still hold and notify the competent authority.
6. You may appeal a content decision by emailing support@textspeech.io with the subject Content Review Appeal within 14 days. We reply within 7 business days.
